  • KS certification is a product certification system that is evaluated and recognized through a certification body as a system that can continuously produce products in conformity with the national standard, the Korean Industrial Standards (KS). Companies that have received the KS certification can display the KS mark (㉿) on their products or packaging to promote them, and receive benefits such as preferential purchase when procured by the government.
  • KS certification promotes quality improvement and production efficiency improvement by introducing in-house standardization and quality management. In addition, it is a system to protect consumers by producing and distributing excellent industrial products.

Items or items for which examination standards have been established by being designated as items for mining or processing technology through the Industrial Standards Deliberation Council, as deemed necessary by the Director of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards.

The preferential purchase system for KS products is a system that allows national organizations, local governments, government-invested organizations, and public organizations to give KS products preference when purchasing goods. In other words, it is a system that promotes the standardization of the mining and manufacturing industries, and the rational use of goods by legally requiring only KS products to be used.
