Overview

CB is a worldwide system for conformity testing and certification of electrical equipment.

The CB (Certification Body) certification system under IECEE is an “IECEE system for mutual recognition of test results according to safety standards for electrical equipment” that tests based on international safety standards and certifies electrical products whose results are proven to conform to the standards. In order to promote trade between member countries and reduce the workload of each country's laboratories, mutual certification of test reports is institutionalized.
